Starship Technologies aims to make local delivery of goods free.
Starship robots have been designed to carry parcels or grocery bags within a 3 mile radius, this smart technology allows us to lower the cost of local delivery by a factor of 5 to 10 times. All packages are kept in Starship’s hubs and delivered when you quest a delivery via the mobile app, it would take around 5 to 30 minutes for your order to arrive. You can also track the journey of the robot through your smart device.

The ability to carry packages and deliver them is not enough, these robots are designed to be really smart so that they can drive on sidewalks at pedestrian speeds. They can navigate their way through an area with great precision while merging with pedestrian traffic, they can detect obstacles, adjust speed, or stop and safely cross the streets. However, outside might not be safe for these robots, that’s why they are also monitored by human operators who can, at any time, take control over the device.
For security of your items, the cargo is locked throughout the delivery and can only be opened by the recipient via mobile phone. Since these robots run on batteries, they are practically producing zero environmental footprint.
