@Raf Cruz is a collage artist and graphic designer based in Lisbon.
Since the childhood, Rafael Cruz has created images from scratch using collage as a paradoxical tool to escape from reality yet remain in the midst of things. His works are somewhat political, intellectual, and pop. Now and then, it takes skills to work out what the artist means, some pieces are totally disturbing, others are simple and fun. Colourful and colourless, they bring relieve even if they are not as sweet as we are expecting. Like true medicine, the art by Rafael Cruz cures and gives new hope.
