Futuristic Volkrun Concept Racing Car for Volkswagen Design Contest 2014

Volkrun concept car has been designed as part of Volkswagen design contest 2014. The brief was to display optimum creativity in variety fields of car design: exterior, interior, user interface, graphic, and color/trim. The challenge here is to come up not only a Volkswagen video game car but also a new video game scenario for the concept.

Sophisticated audience of the future is not interested in ordinary car racing anymore. Now everything depends not only on a vehicle power, but also on a physical training of each pilot. There are portal-checkpoints on the track. They are located all over the world and each of them can pass a limited number of bolides. Passing through the portal the car is teleported to another part of the world with completely different climate and landscape area. The race ends when only the one driver is on the track.

High Technologies made it possible to create an entirely new principle of human-machine interaction. Bionic muscles provide total control of the car, have a variety of movement configurations and protect the pilot.
