This breakfast has been on repeat for a few weeks now! I love the fresh fruit and almond butter! I used to think peanut butter had my heart, but then I started using almond butter and I’m loving the flavor! Here’s the recipe for this yummy, macro friendly breakfast bowl.

Al Boardman:  Controlled Chaos

Al Boardman was originally from Liverpool and now resides in WInchester with his wife and two children where he works as a freelance Motion Designer.  According to Al  ‘I didn’t do well at school and didn’t especially enjoy my time there either’ but he did manage to become a completely self taught and highly accomplished motion designer  He originally started making gifs as a way of sharing work in progress for projects but this grew into a passion for the form in which he experimented with new techniques and forms of expression that he said was ‘ heavily influenced by the GIF-art movement that appeared to center around Tumblr.  Al Boardman creates beautiful chaotic-seeming and yet controlled animations in which lots of bits, separately moving, somehow are part of a whole that gels together for a moment - and then flies apart again.

James Ward:  Simple, satisfying gifs

‘I hail from the leafy suburbs of Surrey in the UK’ says James Ward, who has a degree in Television and Video, developed an interest in graphic design and ‘kind of accidentally ended up being a motion designer’.  He became hooked on gifs after contributing to the well known design project called ‘9 squares’ and says that it ‘sparked a bit of a creative awakening for me’.  In his gifs you can see an artist deliberately working within the limitations of the form and in the process creating minimalist, miniature works that feel extremely satisfying to view again and again, despite involving  a little as one single line.
