Agnieszka Wencka (b.1978) in her paintings likes the combination of reality and unrealistic forms, delicate, accurate elements and dynamic areas. He also likes to feel the brush’s work (texture, individual strokes, blurs). Creating artwork, she is guided initially by the general idea, but most are born during the painting. She is fascinated not only by the effect but also the very process of creation, the traditional oil technique, all her “alchemy”, the structure of the paint stretched on canvas, the unexpected effects of individual strokes, the smells of oil media. via
