A Cat Thing: Cool Modular Furniture for Your Feline Friend
If you’ve ever wondered what your cat’s dream house would look like, then wonder no more as this sustainable modular furniture made from cardboard boxes will entertain your feline friend for hours on end.
Designed by Taiwan-based design studio A Cat Thing, the collection includes four different modules (room, living room, balcony, and ramp) which can be linked together to create an endless array of micro-architecture compounds, thanks to their patented origami-inspired cardboard connectors.

Architectural Embroidery by Le Kadre
Behind Le Kadre are the French-Swedish textile artists Charles Henry and Elin Petronella. The couple creates charming embroidery designs inspired by architecture.
For us, to create art is not only a vocation but a lifestyle. Our goal is to continue our exploration of embroidery as a modern art form and to expand our creations to the larger art-scene with exhibitions. We also want to continue to provide hands-on workshops, where we engage with the communities around us and teach the power of the handmade. In the long run, we also aim to create more extensive programs of creativity and well-being.
Our Facebook. Note: The page is addictive!

Tokyo’s Nikunotoriko Restaurant in an Artistic Masterpiece
Dining is a multisensory experience at Nikunotoriko restaurant in the stylish Roppongi district of Tokyo. Envisioned by Japanese architect Ryoji Iedokoro, the establishment serves yakiniku (grilled meat) cuisine in two distinct, mind-blowing spaces designed to reconnect patrons with nature and their primordial origins.
The cave-like setting on the first floor revolves around a long smoked-glass table, with a sleek glass tiled floor evoking a stream of water, and undulating walls that bring to mind Arizona’s Antelope Canyon. The upper floor transports diners in the middle of a lush and quiet hillside forest where steel pipes act as trees.

Alexandre Farto, aka Vhils. Born in 1987 in Seixal. The industrial landscape of the area was an ideal canvas for Vhils who took to expressing himself via graffiti at a young age. He signed his impromptu imagery with the tag “Vhils”, which has no meaning except that V-H-I-L and S are his favorite and fastest letters to write with paint.
Vhils’ works are all about exposing layers and creating textures. His massive urban portraits are carved and sometimes blasted, using the support as media.
