Paper Art by Lucas Chimello Simões
Lucas Simoes (b.1980) is a Brazilian artist based in São Paulo. His work is highly influenced by his architectural and design background. Over the years Simões has experimented working with a wide range of materials: maps, books, photographs, concrete, silicon, wax, and paper. The artist processes the materials in different ways: burning, cutting, layering, reshaping, diluting or distorting them.
