Embroidered and Stitched Leaves by Hillary Fayle
Hillary Fayle born 1987 in Elma, N.Y. is an remarkable fiber artist, illustrator, and painter. She lives and works in Forestport, N.Y., near the Adirondack Mountains.
I try to use environmentally friendly and sustainable materials for my art, which has really defined what I do as an artist. Currently I am working with leaves as a primary material, which I coat in a non-toxic preservative and either cut them or stitch them to create delicate patterns which reflect the beauty of the natural world.

Basswood glued Sculptures
His life-size wooden sculptures show us an empathetic view of vulnerability. The characters cower from the viewers, trying to cover their nude, androgynous bodies from their gaze.
