James Jean, 2017 - Recent artworks
Los Angeles is home to the Taiwanese-American artist and illustrator James Jean. Born in Taiwan but brought up in New Jersey, Jean went through the School of Visual Arts in NYC before becoming a cover artist for DC comics. His awards list is impressive. Without any limits, he recently created a mural in Portland. Done using a silicate based paint, the mural has a vibrant gouache-like quality.
