Villa Drakothea
Embedded into the hillside above Lia Bay, on the south east side of Mykonos, Villa Drakothea provides maximum privacy and luxurious comfort amid stunning views of the sapphire Aegean Sea. The property is a typical Cycladic construction, but has a whimsical Gaudiesque feel, due mainly to its undulating walls and organic shapes.
Mixing whitewashed stone and aged wood with appealing art and antiques, interiors ooze old-world Mykonian charm, but amenities are decidedly 21st century. All 4 cozy bedrooms are decorated with characterful build-in furniture, fireplaces, and en-suite bathrooms, and some feature private terraces overlooking the wild, beautiful seascape.
A spectacular infinity pool surrounded by rocks runs the whole length of the villa, giving guests the sensation of being part of the neighboring sea.
