Painting by Juliette Belmonte

Born in Costa Rica  to a French mother and Argentinian father, Juliette was one of seven children in a large and adventurous family.  She took to painting at a very young age, learning and working alongside her mother, a prolific and successful collage artist. Her parents fostered and encouraged Juliette’s creativity throughout her young life and signed her up for her first official painting class at the age of ten.  She has been studying painting ever since.

Juliette has studied at the Art Student’s League of New York, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.  She has shown her work extensively throughout North and South America and has collectors and admirers world wide.  Currently, Juliette is exploring life in the American West and is living and painting amongst the old brick buildings of Denver, Colorado. - From the artist’s website
