Paintings by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law
Stephanie Pui-Mun Law is an Oakland-based artist. Her work is an exploration of the mythic arts, journeying through a surreal otherworld, to seek the manifestations of desire and archetype when seen with a shifted perception. Much of her inspiration stems from mythology and folklore, mingled with the movement of dance, and the chaos of Nature’s wild growth.
Her techniques are mostly based in watercolor, supplemented by textured relief created with gesso and texturing mediums, ink, and metallic pigments.
