During a break from filming “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” Jack Nicholson (left) talks with the film’s production manager Joel Douglas (center) and producer Michael Douglas (right). On this day in 1976, “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” became the second film in Oscar history to win awards in the Best Picture, Actor, Actress, Director and Screenplay categories - the first being “It Happened One Night” (1934). “The Silence of the Lambs” achieved the elusive feat in 1992.
