On this day in 1976, “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” became the second film in Oscar history to win awards in the Best Picture, Actor, Actress, Director and Screenplay categories - the first being “It Happened One Night” (1934). “The Silence of the Lambs” achieved the elusive feat in 1992.
