Cracking Art

Cracking art is a somewhat mysterious art collective from Italy that places large and colorful plastic creatures around the world. From their website:

Cracking Art movement was born in 1993: the main intention is to radically change the history of art through a strong social and environmental commitment in conjunction with a revolutionary use of plastic materials in order to investigate the close relationship between natural and artificial reality. The group-dimension doesn’t limit the individual artist’s creativity: each member of the movement works also in an independent way developing their personal interpretation of current problems and tensions.

So if you should happen upon large magenta snails crawling up the side of an apartment building know that Cracking Art has paid you a visit. See more of Cracking Art’s work on their Instagram. Thanks Rated: Modern Media.
