Matías Mata is a Spanish artist from the Canary Islands. He began to paint on the streets since 1990 and was participating in international events since 1998. The name Sabotaje al Montaje reflects Matías’ views about a “contaminated” society, controlled more and more by multi-national companies, motivated by greed and profit. His art talks about the system, a big lie of society and the world. The sabotage strikes out against it and I do it with colour and paint.
