The Flowing Art of Ana Teresa Barboza
Ana Teresa Barboza is a Peruvian artist who works with embroidery and illustration. Part of her work “A Look Back/Volver a Mirar” includes embroidery of a nature scene that cascades off the piece and flows to the floor like the water off a waterfall. Some of her other works include delicate stitching that needs to be viewed under magnification, and still others are embroidered over photography. See all of this installation on her website.
