This is a blue purple abstract digital painting I’m working on. I started with a photograph I took of a palm leaf in the Temperate Palm House at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and used a series of generative processes, stream of consciousness explorations and deliberate interventions (like cutting it up and turning it upside down) to reach this point.
