Amazing New York Street Scenes Photographs in the 1950s

Soren Larson, while looking through tge attic of his aunt, stumble upon a remarkable treasure trove: an amazing and vast collection of photographs that were taken by his amateur photographer, grandfather Frank Oscar Lason. Soren described his granddad as the “family shutterbug,” This amazing collection of photos depicting the street scenes of New York in the 1950s, had been abandoned in the attic since 1964, when Frank Oscar Larson passed away. 50 years later, his grandson developed some of the negatives and brought them to the Queens Museum of Art. The photos depict candid street scenes throughout New York and capture the pulse of the city that never sleeps back in the ’50s.
