Epic Sculpture by Diana Al-Hadid
Diana Al-Hadid’s art is epic. Born in Aleppo, Syria, Diana grew up in Ohio. She has multiple degrees, including and MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her sculptural works take in architecture, figures and abstract forms. She uses a mix of materials including polymers, steel and bronze. One of her most recent works, Gotika, is a play on stained glass windows in churches. It was part of the Glasstress 2015 event - A Collateral Event Of The 56th International Venice Bienniale at The Berengo Centre for Contemporary Art. Thanks to art21.org
