Celebrating the Night Sky - David Lane Astrophotography
Astrophotographer David Lane (58) has been capturing images of disk shaped galaxy - which cannot be distinguished properly with the naked eye - since early 2011 and has been obsessed with snapping the phenomenon ever since.
He said: “When capturing the Milky Way, I want it to be as beautiful and as true to life as I possibly can regardless of the time required. In the end I want it to look like a fantastic watercolour painting that can fill the eye with wonder. I’ve always loved the sky and the stars twinkling overhead”.
