Gali Kitchen is the result from a research about food consuming, social, and living arrangements. This kitchen project focuses more on single occupancy living where individuals can perform their daily rituals for food preparation and consumption. Cooking involves rituals, each person has their own rituals, but we might not need specific room to do so, it can happen anywhere. As a response to growing trend of compact changeable lifestyles, Gali proposes a new kitchen system for your home. It becomes an essential part in your living space but sometimes, it only requires space that most people don’t use it the same way. The main goal of this project is to allow user to distribute the space as they want, giving a platform for your cooking rituals yet functions as an object with different functions when you need it.
