Francois Bard is a French painter born in 1959 in Lille (France). He lives and works in Paris. Bard is one of Europe’s most collectable artists, thanks to his highly textured and atmospheric artworks. François’s inspirations are simple, everyday things. “I like painting ‘trivial’ subjects from my daily surroundings. I try to find examples in the various mediums that surround me: newspapers, TV, films and the Internet.
