Sergey Ponochenyuk born 1978 is an Ukrainian artist painter from Kiev.
Talent of every creative person is revealed after the momentous events of his life, or amusing coincidence. I have my own long history, which began a few decades ago.
Once in my childhood I like disconnected from the outside world. Through the eyes of a child everything looked very extraordinary. For a while I perceived the world from a flying height. Views, images, horizons and landscapes seemed to me full of different patterns and symbols, colors and paints around me changed and sparkled. At first glance everything seemed for me big and bulky, but looking closer small details and figures opened, which I would like to go deep into and to look at them forever, never taking my eyes.
After 20 years I wanted to reflect my impressions on the canvas to convey the depth of what I saw in that moment. This life episode I remember all my life and it remains to be an inexhaustible source of my inspiration.
