Indian stray dogs have been reach all time high but unfortunately there’s no action taken in order to control or protect them. Subinay Malhotra wanted to design a series of dog houses to protect these stray dogs, to give them shelter when they need one. The result is Petris.
According to statistics, about 80% dogs in the world are actually stray dogs. This project keeps in mind that most stray dogs don’t have specific place to live, thus, it’s important to design the house that provides them a specific environment. It would help these dogs to live in harmony with people around the environment, you can also enjoy the interactive pet life.

Inspired by the iconic game “Tetris”, people can arrange the dog house and let the dogs play their own game. Petris dimension has been taken into great context since it has be spacious enough for a dog to move around, stretching, and sit. It’s been tested with various sizes of dogs and all of them really like their new house. Hopefully this project can come to reality and help saving the lives of many stray dogs who are just waiting to be loved and fed.
