Giant Crocodile Captured in Philippines ‎

The Philippine villagers caught a giant crocodile that was terrorizing many tribespeople in the south of the country. The hunt lasted for a couple of weeks.

The local government hired crocodile hunters and spent over $7,000 for the operation. The reptile managed to eat a bull and, maybe, a farmer who had gone missing.
The villagers feared the now famous crocodile so a group of hunters trapped and caught it. It turned out that the huge reptile at 21 ft (6.4 m) weighs 1,075 kg.
The animal was taken to a new home in the village of Consuelo. It now lives in a big lagoon with concrete walls and iron mesh. Local officials want to enter the Guinness World Records with their massive "prize".
