If you think some structures are impossible to rehab and make livable then check out this amazing transformation from crumbling to shining. New owner has spent a year and 500 000 dollars to give this house a new life.
With money you can do anything
ReplyDeleteAin't that true, Anon 1 !
ReplyDeleteYes it is John Doe
ReplyDeletewoah, you like totally tore down half a structure and built a new one! Woah really? Does anyone else know about this? You should probably tell the whole world
ReplyDeleteGrande criatividade deste arquiteto, apesar que achei o custo da obra muito elevado, bom talvez
ReplyDeletepra vocês não seja, apesar de tudo foi uma exelente transformação.
There goes the neighborhood.
ReplyDeletethe backyard looks worse after than before you started. it looks really fucking bleak back there. put up a swing or something.
ReplyDeleteis this in Florida??
ReplyDeleteHasn't anyone noticed that these are not before and after pictures. Look at the details of the nieghboring houses such as gutters and windows. Also notice in the last two pictures, the difference between the yellow houses before and after as well as the clearance to the street and the building accross the street.
ReplyDeleteThat caught my eye too. These pictures are fake tranformations
ReplyDeleteHe didn't only redo the house. He bought the entire neighbourhood and uprooted all the trees.
ReplyDeletea stunning example of gentrification. calling all white people.
ReplyDeletehorrible taste
ReplyDeleteI don't get why everyone is hating on this, I think it looks pretty nice..
ReplyDeleteaw man shiiiiiiiit they done went and messed up my drug hide out.
ReplyDeleteYup, you build a new house and used some old walls.
ReplyDeleteDerp...
"I don't get why everyone is hating on this, I think it looks pretty nice.."
ReplyDeleteYou must also be fond of olive-colored bathroom tiles and orange & purple wall paper patterns.
Stunning!
ReplyDelete727 is this pinellas county florida?
ReplyDeleteThese aren't fake. This is a house down the street from me. I've always wondered what was going on in there.
ReplyDeleteAnd no, It's in Atlanta, GA
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how they took a torn down shack look a like & made it into something beautiful. I respect that. (:
ReplyDeleteMOneys says itself.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I would call that a "transformation" or a "remodel" so much as "completely changing the character of the original building to the point that it probably would've been cheaper to just tear the whole thing down and start anew."
ReplyDeletethey pics are totally fake i mean look at them totally fake....
ReplyDeletei think its very creative. the only reason everyone is hating is because they don't have the money or creativity to turn something that was run down and old into something that is modern and fun.
ReplyDeleteIt was meant to be inspiring to people and i think it's an amazing transformation to look at.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't like it, then just don't say anything. it's that simple.
If the old, brick building with character had been transformed and made useful and habitable, that would be cool. But with all the monumental rest of it, they just added a McMansion to an old brick building with character - Franken-mansion.
ReplyDeleteCheck this one; integrity and character intact:
