Arsham challenges our perceptions of physical space, as walls melt or stretch like a fabric in front of our very eyes. He is known for his use of white in artwork and installations. Why? His words:
“I’m color blind, so part of it when I use that tonality, I know what I’m seeing and experiencing is the same thing you do because of the lack of color. It’s also a very simple idea of not altering materials.”

Sleep Under the Northern Lights at Iceland’s Panorama Glass Lodge
Take in the magic of the Aurora Borealis with a stay at the Panorama Glass Lodge. Nestled by the shore of Hvalfjörður fjord, only a 30-minute drive from Reykjavík, the standalone igloo-like cabin has a bedroom made entirely of glass, offering epic panoramic views of the surrounding bay, snow-capped mountains, and clear, unpolluted skies.
Awash in natural colors and materials, the interior is chic, cozy, and modern, with a small fully-equipped kitchen and an atmospheric bathroom with rainforest shower. Complementing the remote fjord-side retreat is a dreamy outdoor hot tub perfect for stargazing.
