Surreal Digital Collage by Jati Putra Pratama

When I look at Jati Putra Pratama’s designs I wished I could walk into the world he creates.  From Indonesian, Jati creates digital collage art.  His surreal art is a new take on reality - giving the viewer a vision of a world where the horizon bends at 90 degrees, and people walk in the clouds.  Thanks to Escape Kit!

Star wars & Other Pop Icons in Pink by Scott Scheidly Born...

Star wars & Other Pop Icons in Pink by Scott Scheidly

Born in Ohio, Scott Scheidly lives & works in Orlando, FL. Known for his “pink series”, which depicts notorious dictators, Hollywood celebrities & contemporary politicians bathed in hues of pinks & purples, Scheidly’s work presents a satirical analysis of power, corruption, celebrity & masculinity. He raises an important contemporary discussion of societal norms masked in a veil of humor & shock value.

“At age four I attempted my first art project by devouring a 10 pack of crayons thus turning my diaper into a Jackson Pollack. I enjoy floundering about & painting pretty pictures, & I still eat crayons now & again just to remind myself of my roots & how I ended up like this. Some day I hope not to be famous.”
