Norlan Whisky Glass Offers You a Perfect Whisky Drinking Experience

Whisky is a distilled alcoholic beverage made up of hundreds of compounds, and just like wine, with proper aeration the volatile undesirable elements would evaporate faster than desirable, aromatic, flavorful ones, giving you concentration of the aromatics. Norlan Whisky Glass has been carefully designed and developed to offer you a perfect whisky drinking experience through the combination of design, science, and sociology.

The combination of science performing inside with aesthetic beauty outside, this glass aims to capture whisky’s complex perfumes and deliver them to your senses better than any existing whisky glasses on the market. The specially developed protrusion forms inside the glass is adapted through studying bio-mimicry, when swirled around the glass, fluid forms a standing wave shape, thus, increasing the surface to air ratio and rate of oxidization. The effect is usually more ethanol evaporates. By reducing the volatility, it allows whisky to become even more expressive, Norlan glass offer this feature through its special design that no other whisky glass could do this for you.

The second main feature is the shape of the inner walls, they close as they rise and then flare out again to avoid hitting the nose. The height and diameter has been carefully designed to ensure aromatics focus to the nose while diffusing the ethanol away from the face. This process would improve the taste of your whisky.

The Genius of Mikhail Borulko

There’s not that many minutes left until midnight. And so many of us wouldn’t know the difference if the clock struck twelve, the daily is so dark. Like in Mikhail Borulko’s work. Let’s work together on pulling the world away from there, shall we?

A utopia on Earth already exists. You can find it on our Facebook page. It’s like the Elysian Fields over there, and you don’t even have to die to get there. Check it out.

Digital Dreams by Ray Caesar

Ray Caesar  is a visual, surreal artist and digital painter residing in Toronto, Canada. He was born in London, England in 1958, emigrated to Toronto in 1967. Artist creates his dream-like images with a 3D modeling software.

Caesar  works  in  Maya,  using  it  to  create  his  figures  as  well  as  the  virtual  realms  in  which  they  exist.  Through  the  program,  he  builds  digital  models  with  invisible  skeletons  and  anatomical  joints  that  can  be  bent  and  manipulated  to  assume  any  pose.  He  wraps  the  models  in  rich  textures,  adding  hair,  skin,  eyelashes  and  fingernails.  Then  places  them  in  digitally  lit,  impeccably  detailed  3D  environments  built  with  architectural  layers,  windows,  wallpapers,  curtains  and  furnishings.

Caesar’s  meticulous  process  incorporates  elements  of  drawing,  painting,  collage  and  sculpture,  working  countless  hours  to  achieve  every  remarkably  intricate  tableau.  Further  emphasizing  his  sculptural  technique,  Caesar  compares  his  process  of  2D  printmaking  with  imagery  created  in  3D  as  being  similar  to  the  practice  of  capturing  stills  from  video  and  film. via

These are the Most Incredible Photos Shot by NASA’s Cassini Probe

The Cassini space probe has captured its fair share of eye-popping photos since launching in 1997 and arriving in Saturn’s orbit in 2004.
Here’s a collection of some of Cassini’s most remarkable photographs. Many of them were compiled by Reddit user I_Say_I_Say, and others were featured here before or obtained from NASA’s website: You can find a massive collection of Cassini’s photos in the mission gallery on NASA’s website. Thanks Petapixel

1.A massive storm stretching across the surface of the planet. 2.Saturn’s gradation and rings. 3.Three of Saturn’s moons (Titan, Mimas, and Rhea) captured in a single photo. 4.Saturn casting a shadow on its rings. 5.Saturn’s icy moon Enceladus. 6.Saturn, its rings, and its moon Dione. 7. Earth seen as a pale blue dot under Saturn’s rings. 8.Saturn’s moon Rhea hovering in front of Saturn’s largest moon, Titan. 9.Saturn casting its shadow on its rings. 10.Saturn and its moon Titan
