Shane Beam: Playful, Colorful Motion Abstractions
Shane Beam is a professional Designer and Animator based in Chicago. He has a degree in Animation from Depaul University. But like many gif artists, outside of his day job he is compelled to make gifs for himself. Shane is a strong believer in the uniqueness of gifs as an art form, and likes ‘characters stuck in happy, colorful, and chaotic feeling situations.’ In his best work the flat gentle palette combined with playful drawing and motion accomplishes exactly that.
