Asus Z2 Poseidon Is A Cell Phone Design Proposal for Extreme Gamers
Asus Z2 Poseidon is a special concept cell phone designed for extreme gamers, that being said it must be powerful, with great battery and without overheating issues.
Z2 Poseidon is equipped with Fujitsu Loop Heat Pipe so the CPU can stay cool and run smoothly all the time. There is also a build in Air Cooling System, which naturally pushes out all the heat from the battery and other components trough the pipes that go through in the middle of the device or the half pipe shape placed side by side right next to the back cover – directly out through the holes placed on the each side of the phone.

The idea of the AIR Cooling System is to be “connected-in contact” with all components, which cause the heat, so the air can naturally circulate and cool down the device, finding its own way out.
There are 3 models to choose from with 6 different colors, 3 are made out of Anodized Aluminum and the other 3 are made out of Brushed Aluminum with Engraved Logos.
The button’s color varies depending on the model, they come in black, silver and dark red, also the ANTI Dust Mesh Grill is available in two colors: black and gray. The USB and audio jack are left out, they can be easily placed at the bottom and top or on the left and right side of the phone, as there are a plenty of free spots for it. The reason why USB and audio jacks are left out because the designer wants to hear it from the gamers… what do they suggest! what’s the best place for USB and audio jack to them? You can find 5 physical buttons on the phone: power, camera, alert slider and the red ones in the middle is the volume rocker.

Argo Yacht Concept Is A Dream Project of Vasilatos Ianis
It’s good to hearing from Vasilatos Ianis again, this time, he submitted Argo. Argo is a conceptual yacht, a long term project with multiple stages, therefore, you can expect some updates on this page in the future. As one of his favorite designs, Vasilatos had really great time working on it, it’s been a dream project for many years and it’s starting to take shape.
Argo, the name comes from Greek mythology, Argonauts, a band of heroes, years before Trojan War. This project is about creating a super yacht with 3 decks, a rest area on the deck in front of the captain cabin, and at the back of that cabin, there’s a huge tub when emptied, it can be transformed into a rest area. The rear of this yacht features open design with 2 corridors that lead to the main lounge inside. Vasilatos promises to send us the interior images once they are finished, we’ll keep you updated.

Lumir C: Candle Powered LED Lamp Anytime, Anywhere
After traveling throughout India, the design team of Lumir realized the seriousness of blackouts. There are many households in developing countries that rely on candle lights even though they are still too dark to lead an everyday life. Lumir C is a candle powered LED lamp that aims to light up the world, it doesn’t require any batteries or plugs, just use a candle to enjoy bright LED lamp.
User can read a book, cook, or work without any external power supply. This light design was inspired by a lighthouse that lights up a dark sea, using the principle that converts temperature difference between two other types of semi-conductor directly into electricity. Lumir C lights up the LED using heat energy from the candle.
