Collingwood Shepherd Hut : Cozy Little Hut for One Person

Collingwood Shepherd Hut is a cozy and comfy little hut that you can tow anywhere. You can move it wherever you want without any extra construction costs or building permits, this little hut blurs the line between office, home, and cabin. Crafted from hardwearing materials, set atop cast iron wheels, this little studio/playroom/home office/den is perfect when you need sometime to be alone.

The timeless design makes this hut going back to its essentials, a place when you need to get away from the world around you while still keeping close to everything that matters. This is the hut for wild backwoods retreat or quiet garden refuge, a good read or just enjoy a pot of tea. The modular design allows you to design the interior as you like, the modular furniture designs also support this. Every piece furniture has been thoughtfully designed to serve more than one function, most of them collapse, unfold, and tuck away, smart heh?

Collingwood Shepherd Hut has been designed for one person, but spacious for many. All furniture designs pair beautifully with spacious floor plan, it’s easy configure this hut to suit your lifestyle. Since the hut is less than 10m2, it doesn’t need a building permit in many places, this means there’s no extra property taxes as well.

Equipped with Gute signature spoked wheels, stub-axels, and turntable attach pretty solid and work flawlessly with the hut chassis. The proportions have been carefully considered for both aesthetics and a full range of steering. The axels and hardware were shaped and finished by local smiths with classic and hardwearing flat black powder coat paint. The hardwood used for beam chassis was milled and dried locally.

SS1 Off-Road Autonomous Vehicle for Mars-Like Places

Since its discovery, Mars has always been an interesting planet. There are many designers have designed concept vehicles dedicated for this red planet and its surface characteristics. One of this futuristic concept vehicle is SS1 off-road autonomous vehicle, you can read the designer’s explanation below.

Project SS11 is an off-road autonomous vehicle designed for a MARS-like planet. The vehicle has two major components: Chassis & Bubble. The chassis is entirely made out of Carbon Nanotubes where multi walled Carbon Nanotubes is used, it’s spun into a yarn and then used. The weave pattern is similar to Carbon fiber, but much stronger and way more light. The top layer of the chassis is a transparent sheet of piezoelectric material, squeezing electricity from air pressure. It has a battery pack that consists of 105 cells made from carbon nanotubes, giving a output of 1.35MW, which will give a range of 5289 miles (8511 kilometers). Each wheel is motorized independently. The wheel has a variable tread contact patch & Non-Pneumatic technology by which it adapts to extreme conditions without the risk of blowout. The bubble is made out of a Sandwich glass of tempered Aluminosilicate glass and fused silica glass. The bubble is attached to the chassis using reverse polarity, while detaching relay polarity is developed between the chassis and the bubble.

OnePlus 11 Smartphone Concept by Mladen Milic

Mladen Milic has submitted his future vision of a smartphone, similar to our current design, this concept phone features minimalist design and jam-packed with technology.

This is how I envision smart phones in the near future… The idea is that all buttons are embedded into the frame, but also the buttons should not be too sensitive, so you need to do a little more pushing to recall for buttons to work. Now you can have the perfect interaction with a smart phone, all physical buttons are integrated into the side of the frame and you got a totally new look and style of the phone. In reality the phone should have a thinner profile than on the images shown. Material used: Anodized aluminum and stainless steel. Specification: Unknown. Display size: 4.5, 4.7, and 5.0 inch screen…Meet the new star on the streets….Meet OnePlus 11.
