Illustrations by Muhammad Nafay

Muhammad Nafay is a freelance digital artist and designer from Karachi,  Pakistan. He currently doing Bachelors in Media Sciences from a private university.

My paintings or renders are an escape from the world which is full of terror and sad realities. I have a special place for Purple and Blue as it helps me to seek calmness around me. I love working with silhouettes cause sometimes you can show more with fewer details. Most of the paintings are without references as I try to translate my thoughts into art.

Oren Shoham:  Misused Processing Art

Oren Shoham lives in Brooklyn, studied at New York University, and, in his own words:  “I make abstract video art using generative, real-time visual systems that I build in programming environments like Max/MSP/Jitter and TouchDesigner. A lot of my work comes from experimenting with video feedback loops and misusing image processing techniques. I develop these video synthesizers primarily for live A/V performances in which I collaborate with musicians, but I also sometimes show pre-composed recordings from these systems as single-channel video pieces.”

Oren is also part of the upcoming DemoFest that will be showing in the Amsterdam train station all day on November 7th.

Note:  These are gif versions of his videos.  To see his videos in full length video, go to Oren’s Instagram Page
