Oren Shoham:  Misused Processing Art

Oren Shoham lives in Brooklyn, studied at New York University, and, in his own words:  “I make abstract video art using generative, real-time visual systems that I build in programming environments like Max/MSP/Jitter and TouchDesigner. A lot of my work comes from experimenting with video feedback loops and misusing image processing techniques. I develop these video synthesizers primarily for live A/V performances in which I collaborate with musicians, but I also sometimes show pre-composed recordings from these systems as single-channel video pieces.”

Oren is also part of the upcoming DemoFest that will be showing in the Amsterdam train station all day on November 7th.
