Art Prints from photographer/web developer and... crss

Art Prints from photographer/web developer and designer,   va103   aka  Victoria Avvacumova Dawn’s Moon | Moon gazing | Polychrome Moon | Blue Madness When I was 12, my brother bought me my first camera: lomo Smena 8m. I began enthusiastically photographing my friends and kittens, developing the photographs myself in our bathroom which my brother used as a darkroom. But my brother moved out, took his developing equipment with him. Next I lost my lomo camera. My passion was postponed for years. I shoot digital nowadays, and I am never without my camera and 2 lenses: Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 + macro 100mm f/2.8. Instagram: @ crossconnectmag crss

crossconnectmag : Etienne Jacob:  Spectacular Black & White Vortices Etienne, a 24 year old from France working on a Masters Degree in Applied Mathematics, saw the work of Wavegrower  and was inspired:  He wanted to do the same kind of thing.  He succeeded.  Now you see his gifs all over Tumblr, and for good reason.  Sure they are generative and just based on math, but they are also extremely seductive experiences for a viewer because he has a great sense of motion and design - and he makes great vortices.  Why just black and white?  Again, being inspired by Wavegrower, he said about other colors ‘I feel like it adds nothing, it is unnecessary’.  I have to agree.  His gifs are perfect for now, as is. While his skill lies in his versatility and ability to adapt to various styles, he finds himself mostly drawn to Cubism, Surrealism and Pop Surrealism. In his work, he aims to stay open to evolving and preserving unconventional thinking Keep up with all your favorite artists on our Facebook page. Curated by Very Private Art
