Cyril Lancelin

(born in 1975, Lyon, France)

He utilises a vocabulary of classic forms and essential volumetric spaces to create unusual structures. In his vision forms are used at architectural scale to create transformative, experiential art.  His most recent project was a “Knot”, a mass-scale installation shown in China. Previous post about his art.

Its room styles include both sleek A-frame glamping cabins tucked into the forest as well as smart, beautiful suites designed with writers in mind, and experiences range from skiing and hiking in the nearby mountains to curling up by the fire or relaxing in the oversized barrel hot tub.

Jingae’s Dreamy World of Animals

Jingae is an independent Animation Director and artist from New York.  She told me that when she had her first animation job she would ‘make gifs during lunch break and kept going from there’.  Because of her lunchtime habit we are now able to witness her dreamy and surrealistic world of floating and dancing animal in an impressive variety of styles.  They are usually happy but sometime a bit melancholy.  Always pretty.
