Art from Ali Armstrong.

SUBMISSION

Check out these painting from her acrylic painting series called The Scarce Project.

My aim is to encourage responsible protection of the endangered and to never forget the beauty of the extinct. I paint extinct animals in black and white to represent the life that once was, but is now gone. The endangered animals I add a touch of color too, to represent the life of animals still surviving in the great wilds. The amount of color added reflects the numbers left. So the species with more animals will have more color in their painting

New work by Marcus Martinez (aka Isopoly)

Marcus Martinez, who has previously been featured in Cross Connect, has new and stunningly beautiful work.  Jewel like and glittery, with elegant and perfectly timed motion, these looping artworks are some of the best examples of what geometric gif art can be.  And it shows the growth of an artist dedicated to his craft.  Everything here expands on and deepens the already impressive body of work he has done over the past several years.
