The Paintings of Soey Milk
Soey Milk was born in 1989 in Seoul, Korea and moved to the USA at the age of eleven. She graduated from the Pasadena Art Center in 2014 and is currently based in Los Angeles, California. Working primarily with watercolors and oil paint.
Every little thing matters and every emotion is communicated with the figure I’m painting. Looking back at previous work, I can tell exactly what stage of thought I was in. Every piece has a different memory and marks a specific part of my life.

Part of San Antonio’s colonial-inspired Hotel Havana, this sun-drenched lounge & restaurant serves up craft cocktails and pan-Latin flavors with a Texan twist in a stunning glass conservatory overlooking the River Walk.
Framed by glass walls and peaceful river vistas, Ocho has a sophisticated tropical feel, with both indoor and outdoor seating, a hip relaxed atmosphere, and a soaring ceiling which opens directly to the sky in warmer months.
The decor is an electing mix of eras and influences, with opulent chandeliers hanging above plush velvet furnishings in bright shades of teal and aquamarine.
