Alpay Efe is a German self-taught painter born 1987 in Oberhausen, graduated Academy of Fine Arts, Düsseldorf, Germany. His body of work focuses primarily on figurative painting with contemporary influences.
Capturing a mood or a moment and creating something that feels real can be quite difficult at times. It’s about so much more than painting something in a realistic fashion… that’s the easy part. The hard part is conveying an atmosphere that people can connect with and making the painting feel alive and breathing
