The Best Anxiety Treatment I'd Recommend as a Psychotherapist

In Part I of this two-part series, we looked at what anxiety is and how to tell if you or someone close to you is suffering from an anxiety disorder. Now let’s explore the causes of anxiety disorders and the treatments for them. We’ll also delve into the best self-help strategies anxiety sufferers can practice themselves and how their friends and families can help. The combination of these factors brought them to a tipping point that created an anxiety disorder. Specific risk factors for anxiety disorders include: Childhood trauma, such as abuse, neglect, or witnessing a traumatic event. Stress build-up due to a single, very stressful event or

A Painless Life May Sound Enticing, But It's the Guarantee to True Suffering

No one wants to suffer. As a general rule, people like to avoid hurt and pain as much as possible. As a species, humans want a painless existence so much that scientists make a living trying to create it. People can now choose “pain-free” labor for babies, and remedies to cure back pain, headaches, body-pains and even mental pains are a dime a dozen. COMO Point Yamu Peacefully located on Cape Yamu peninsula, on the unblemished east coast of Phuket, COMO Point Yamu commands stellar views of the Andaman Sea and the iconic Phang Nga Bay. The style is contemporary Thai with a slick Mediterranean touch, thanks to Italian designer Paola Navone who envisioned the interiors. The luxuriously appointed rooms and suites are slick and airy with bright pops of blue and generous balconies. Following the same classy, minimalist decoration theme, the exclusive villas pamper guests with private pools and alfresco dining areas overlooking the turquoise sea. Dining choices range from delicious Thai street food at Nahmyaa to exquisite Italian favorites at the chic La Sirena to healthy COMO Shambhala Cuisine. And speaking of health, the resort’s COMO Shambhala Retreat offers holistic spa treatments along with Yoga and fitness sessions high above the dazzling 100-meter long pool.
