Hôtel de Jobo
Built on the site of a 17th-century convent in Paris’ trendy Le Marais neighborhood, Hôtel de Jobo pays tribute to fashionable Josephine Bonaparte, Napoleon’s first wife.
Responsible for the ravishing interiors is designer Bambi Sloan, who used Josephine’s true passions - roses, swans, and leopard print - as motifs throughout the decor. The result is a unique fusion of styles and patterns, of historical eccentricity and Rock ‘n Roll. Envisioned as love nests, the boutique’s boudoir-like rooms are adorned with bold patterns, striking period wallpapers, and bijou bathrooms clad in Marquina and Carrara marble mosaic.
Exquisite cheeses and champagnes, seasonal gourmet dishes, and handcrafted cocktails are available in the hotel’s sensual lounge bar, furnished with plush floral sofas and daring leopard print carpets scattered with roses.

Surreal Installations by MyeongBeom Kim
Using themes of life and growth in nature, artist MyeongBeom Kim (b.1976) constructs stunning installations of surreal situations. His work often conveys a state of transition between two strange pairs, like he has stumbled upon bizarre metamorphoses frozen in time. Certain imagery is often repeated in Kim’s work, like deer, antlers, trees, and balloons.
