Useful Tips for Traveling in UAE

When you want to travel anywhere in the world, you have to find useful information and learn about the place carefully to avoid trouble or bad situations. The post will show you useful tips and rules for traveling to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which is famous for strict regulations in daily life for all people who live there or want to visit. Therefore, before deciding to visit the UAE, you should read the post below for some tips on how to have a wonderful trip.

Drinking alcohol

Tourists cannot buy alcoholic drinks in supermarkets or grocery stores. Therefore, if you want to drink alcohol, you have to visit bars, restaurants, and clubs, because these places are licensed to sell these beverages. Furthermore, the legal drinking age is 21 in the United Arab Emirates, so if you are under 21, you should not attempt to purchase an alcoholic drink. If you do not obey this law, you will get in trouble with the local police. Drinking alcohol in public places can lead to imprisonment. In case guests are invited to visit native residents at home, homeowners should ensure that they have an alcohol license for the home.

Driving

UAE laws are absolutely uncompromising when it comes to acts of drinking and driving. You will be fined and imprisoned if police discover any alcohol in your blood, even the smallest quantity. The fines for drinking and driving are very harsh, including confiscation of the vehicle. Furthermore, cameras and laser guns are installed in most streets and highways. The driver is required to wear a seat belt. If you cross the street and do not follow the proper markings, it is considered an illegal action, especially in Abu Dhabi. Guests may be fined if they do not know and obey the rules.

Medications and narcotics

Purchase, sale or possession of narcotics is a serious crime that carries a life sentence or the death penalty in the UAE. If an illegal drug is detected in your blood, you’ll face four years in a prison (at minimum) and deportation. This provision also applies to medicines containing sedatives or analgesics.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in government buildings, offices, and shopping centers. Therefore, if you want to smoke, you should find an area reserved for smokers to do it.

Clothing

Men have to wear long pants and women have to wear long skirts and avoid revealing body parts, especially a spot with a tattoo in public areas such as a shopping mall, restaurant or park. Displaying the nude form is prohibited, including sunbathing. You only wear swimsuits on the beach and not in the public sector, including on the way from the beach to the hotel.

In addition, tourists should not eat with the left hand, because in the Muslim conception, the left hand is not clean. You also should leave a little food on the plate after a meal because it is said to be more polite.

Dancing

Dancing in public areas is considered an impolite act, so tourists can only dance in a home or a club that is licensed for dancing.

Marriage relationships

UAE prohibits couples from living together before marriage; extramarital relations are prohibited as well. Living together, even in a hotel, is seen as illegal. Therefore, almost all hotels in Dubai prohibit couples from staying together before marriage. For this reason, when checking into the hotel, you should indicate “husband/wife” rather than “boyfriend/fiancé” to prevent any problems that may occur.

Showing affection in public

You cannot hug or kiss in public areas. Holding hands is allowed only for a couple. Additionally, same-sex love is banned and regarded as a criminal offense; if this expression is seen, it could lead to sentencing.

Although UAE has a lot of rules, it is still a wonderful and attractive place where tourists can enjoy special and interesting cuisine and culture. You should spend the time to visit at least once, and don’t forget to follow the above rules to avoid unexpected circumstances and have an unforgettable trip.

5 Wedding Trends That Will Be Huge In 2017

Wedding trends come and go with the seasons. With the new year come new ideas and themes to direct this year’s ceremonies and nuptials. Some trends, however, can come across as forced and date your special day quickly, while others may look timeless and natural for years to come. Consider which trends reflect your personality and interests when crafting your wedding plans, rather than just browsing the latest popular boards on Pinterest. These five wedding trends will be easy to incorporate into any wedding without coming across as too kitschy.

Metallic dresses

The era of stark whiteness has come to an end, and wedding dresses are leaning towards the glamorous, the detailed and the metallic. Dresses with gold, copper or silver threading are expected to rise in popularity in 2017, according to The Knot, and no wonder. Metallic detail adds a notch of beautiful sophistication that hints towards the luxurious and glamorous without necessarily becoming too overwhelming, like an encrusted dress or heavy jewelry might.

Be careful not to take your metallic look overboard, though. Many couples find themselves slipping metallics into the whole wedding, from the dress to the linens to the party favor containers. Keep your use of metallic colors limited to an accent for a few key pieces, like the dress and the invitation. Don’t go overboard, or it’ll cheapen the glitz the metallic detail offers.

Pops of color

Color is returning to the wedding palette after several seasons of whites and neutrals dominating the scene. Weddings that pick one or two major accent colors to maintain throughout their design will reign this year, bringing a bright look to what has become a very classic and borderline-somber palette. According to Pantone, green is the color of the year, which means the vibrant, leafy, natural color will play a major role in wedding palettes and designs this year. The choice of the color green will go hand-in-hand with another growing wedding trend, the choice to go green.

A return to nature

Weddings are incorporating more and more natural elements, particularly greenery and floral elements, into their themes and palettes. Expect a natural bouquet, an ivy-wrapped altar, floral decorations on everything from invitations to table clothes to extravagant centerpieces, and the use of trees, hanging ivy and large bouquets indoors. Expect indoor weddings in general to decrease in frequency as well; brides and grooms are choosing to host their weddings outside, under the stars or in grassy knolls, fields or forests in the return-to-nature wedding trend.

Unconventional meals

Couples are eschewing the traditional pre-selected dinner meal in favor of less conventional meals for their wedding receptions. More and more, weddings, and not just quickies in Las Vegas, are turning to family-style meals, in which guests serve themselves from massive plates of food. Other couples are offering all-night snacking, multiple-course meals that get creative and rich with their content, and alternatives such as food trucks. In addition, creative drink pairings to go with the food and unique customized drink offerings that reflect the bride and groom are on the rise, making mealtime at weddings far more fun than they used to be.

Social consciousness

Another unexpected trend on the rise is a move towards incorporating social consciousness into your wedding plans. This can range from making a charity registry that encourages guests to donate to a nonprofit rather than bring a gift, to using locally sourced foods, crafts and companies that reduce your carbon footprint and promote local businesses. It also includes paying attention to the little details, like printing your invitations on recycled paper, using local in-season flowers for bouquets and decorations, recycling and reusing goods after the wedding, and collecting donations at the wedding for charities you support.

This year’s wedding trends focus on a return to prioritizing the earth, examining the impact of our weddings, and prioritizing our guests. Couples are also eschewing old norms in favor of more personality, less consumerism and more entertainment at wedding ceremonies and receptions. Incorporate some or all of these trends for an on-point, stylish and in-season wedding your guests will fondly remember for years to come.

Best Wine Rack Tips For Your Home Decor

Wine racks are a type of furniture, often with a fancy design, in which wine bottles are kept and placed for daily use. Home wine racks are used for storing and keeping wine bottles at home. These are an excellent way to display wine bottles in a decorative way. The wine bottles are usually stored in a horizontal position, which helps preserve wine quality and make the bottles last longer. With a horizontal orientation, the stopper of the wine bottles does not get dry. That blocks the air from entering, which could happen due to the drying of the cork. Any air that enters a wine bottle can cause oxidation of the wine and spoil its taste

Wine connoisseurs know the importance of wine racks in keeping wine in its best possible condition. But, choosing which is the best wine rack from among thousands of choices is almost always a matter of individual taste, in the same way as choosing the best wine is also a matter of individual taste.

Your interior designer, if you have one, can assist you in making a wine rack selection, but in the end, the decisions are yours to make. Here are a few criteria to look out for when buying a wine rack.

Number of Wines

It is very important to buy the wine rack that can accommodate the estimated number of wines in your collection. However, if you keep only a small number of wines around, let’s say just ten at the moment, and you have no desire to triple this amount in the near future, then a countertop model is the best rack for your needs.

But, if your wine collection reaches up to a hundred or so bottles, then a large wall mounted rack is the most logical selection. Or, if you are not sure of the direction your small collection will be taking, we suggest stackable wine racks that allow for new additions.

Wine Rack Material

You have many choices of different materials for wine racks. Wooden racks lend an excellent feel to the small bar, with their warm tones, while metal racks add a contemporary touch which will help you enjoy an old drink. You can even choose a glass wine rack joined with either metal or wood.

It is significant to note that none of these materials is considered to be better than the others. So, your favorite wine rack may be metal, but your friend’s choice may be wood. The essential thing with a wine rack is that the style permits good air circulation and that it keeps the wine in a horizontal position. Those qualities will prevent oxidation processes from happening to the wine, thus helping it maintain its original taste.

Also, it is not the material used in the rack that matters most. Instead, you have to consider first and foremost the location of the rack within your house. The location you choose should be cold and dark, with only small temperature changes. Although most wine bottles are dark-colored to ward off light damage, it is still important for the wines to be kept in darkness so as to develop their complex flavors.

Indeed, even the best racks for wine will be of little value if you place them in direct sunlight, near a heat source, or in an area with freezing temperatures or high humidity.

Design Considerations

In conclusion, you should take into consideration the design qualities of the rack. Since the rack will become part of the décor in the room of your house in which choose to place it, you should make sure that it goes along with the rest of the furniture and fittings.

8 Tips To Safeguard Your Child's Financial Security

Securing your child’s financial future is one of the most important things you can do as a parent. 83% of Americans can’t afford to pay for college while millennials currently earn 20% less than Boomers did. The rate of home ownership is also lower for millennials while student loan debts are much higher compared to their parents.

Reasons for the current state of affairs include globalization and slow salary growth. Financial planning ensures that your child will have funds set aside for college and be well taken care of in case of a catastrophe. Here are a few tips to help you plan for your child’s future.

1. Open A Coverdell Education Savings Account

An ESA (Education Saving Account) will enable you to deposit up to $2,000 annually towards your child’s college tuition. The plan allows the funds to grow tax-deferred. ESA’s aren’t just for college expenses; they can also be applied towards elementary and secondary school costs.

If you plan to invest more than $2,000 every year you may want to consider a 529 plan. It’s similar to an ESA plan except without the annual limit.

2. Consider A 529 College Plan

There are two types of 529 plans; pre-paid plans and savings plans. A pre-paid account allows parents to buy tuition credits for future use. The disadvantage of a pre-paid plan is that funds can only be applied towards tuition and not room and board.

A 529 savings plan consists of mutual funds investments which grow over time. Most plans consist of numerous investment options. Experts generally suggest investing more aggressively in stocks while the child is young and tapering off to a more conservative portfolio as your child gets older.

Financial experts suggest funding the account to the maximum amount as soon as your child is born in order to maximize future growth. Automating 529 contributions at set intervals will ensure that the account will grow at a steady rate.

3. Draft An Updated Will

USA Today reports that 64% of American’s don’t have a will. Creating a will is imperative when it comes to protecting your child’s financial future. You will also need to designate a guardian to take care of your children and name a property guardian to manage your estate. Drafting a will doesn’t have to be expensive; Quicken’s Willmaker is affordable and easy to use.

4. Update Beneficiary Information

Make sure to update beneficiary designation is up-to-date on your life insurance policy, bank and retirement accounts. According to Loren Barr, a probate attorney at Barr & Young Attorneys in San Francisco, CA, the information on the beneficiary designation form will override your will. It’s important to update this information after major live events such as the birth of a child or divorce. Experts also suggest naming a contingent beneficiary in case the primary beneficiary predeceases you.

5. Open A Custodial Account

A custodial account is one of the easiest accounts to open. It’s basically a savings account in your child’s name. The account will be accessible once your child turns 18 or 21 depending on their locality. The disadvantage is that the funds are taxable after the first $950. Your child will also have complete control once they become of age, which can either be a good or bad thing depending on their spending habits.

6. Get Life Insurance

Statistics show that only 62% of Americans have life insurance while 85% need it. 70% of households with minor children will have difficulties paying the bills if a primary wage earner were to pass away. The most common reasons for delaying life insurance is perceived cost. The average policy cost for a 35-year-old female non-smoker is just $61 per month. Inquire about life insurance in order to protect you family; it may be a lot cheaper than you think.

7. Save For Retirement

According to U.S News, the average Social Security benefit is just $1,180. Let’s face it; for most of us, that’s not going to be enough to live on. Saving for your own retirement can help your child’s future because they won’t have to provide for you financially in old age. If your work offers a 401k plan, start off by having a set amount of your paycheck deposited directly into your account. The earlier you start the more time you’ll have for your money to grow.

8. Talk To Your Kids About Money

Financial literacy isn’t always stressed adequately in school. Encourage your teen children to get a job and save for what they want instead of handing them over money. Talk to your kids about the basics such as how to manage credit cards, a bank account and how to budget. Knowledge is one of the best gifts you can give to your child when it comes to money management.

It's Time to Make Fitness Logs Sexy

“The early bird catches the worm.”

“Laughter is the best medicine.”

“An apple a day keeps the doctor away.”

Ahh, cliches, don’t you love to hate them? The problem we have with cliches is that they seem overly simplistic and unrealistic, yet there is often much truth behind them. That’s why they have withstood the test of time. We might have to dig a little deeper to find the true meaning, but historically cliches ring true and their batting average isn’t going down anytime soon.

One of the most battle-tested health cliches around today is that if you want to change your health and fitness, you should keep a food and activity log.

Just typing that out feels boring to me. That’s the feeling of a cliche. It’s old. It’s tired. It’s lame. But something is there… There must be a reason that the only people I see with a journal everywhere they go are fit people and strength coaches. If you started one for a New Year’s resolution, odds are that you’ve lost it or thrown it into recycling at this point.

It’s time to make fitness logs sexy!

If you want to upgrade your health, create the beach bod you’ve always wanted, or maximize every ounce of energy you can muster, it’s time to grab a pen and paper and get tracking.

Here are three sexy reasons to start tracking your health and fitness.

1. You create self-awareness

The number one reason to start tracking your health and fitness activity is to create self-awareness. If you follow Gary Vaynerchuk,[1] you have no doubt heard him rant on this topic on more than a few occasions. Just like in business, in health we must become self-aware about why we do what we do. Without it, there is no possible way we can be consistently successful. We need to figure out what works for us and without a written history of what we have done, it’s impossible to piece it all together. The self-awareness we create when we keep track of our workouts, our food, and the metrics we want to improve (lose weight, lose fat, increase muscle mass) helps us see what we actually do day to day. Reality can be much different than what we “think” we do. Don’t lie to your journal, because the scale and mirror won’t lie to you.

2. You hold yourself accountable

What get’s measured, gets managed. Sometimes we don’t have the ability to get a workout partner or have a personal coach walk us through our health transformations. That’s where our fitness log comes in. When you check in every day writing down your meals, workouts, weight, and anything else you might want to improve, you are creating an area of accountability for yourself. You have to stare your log in the eyes every day and tell it what you are up to.

3. You document the journey

You did it! You lost the weight, lost the fat, gained the muscle, whatever your goal was. Congrats! The months or years go by and maybe you gained a bit of it back. No fear, go back to your journal that led to your previous goal. Your gameplan is right there. Tim Ferriss[2] is known for having shelves of notebooks dedicated to past workouts and experiments. If he wants to look like he once did after a certain workout regimen, the plan is ready for him.

Want to create better health for yourself? Don’t go join a gym right away or start a new diet, just grab a pen and paper and start tracking. Seeing where your numbers are and what you do every day can be eye opening and motivating. Let your journal help shape your path. It’s time to own the cliche and make fitness logs sexy!

Famous Hollywood Movie Productions in Wyoming

Wyoming is a state in the mountainous area of the western United States with Cheyenne as its capital. It is the tenth largest by area and one of the least populated states in the Untied States.

Wyoming And Hollywood

Wyoming remains a central location to many famous Hollywood scripts and films about Wyoming. With its well-known history of cattle ranches, Wyoming has directed several popular films. In fact, the age of Hollywood westerns went to Wyoming for its idealised landscapes and infamous images of cowboys and cattle. Due to the numerous Wyoming movie productions,[1] cowboy boots and stetson hats became the stereotype for the citizens of Wyoming in the eyes of society, and with Hollywood movies, John Wayne, Charlton Heston and Kenny Rogers, Wyoming is shown as the western state of outlaws, cowboys and vigilantes.

Tips on Preventing Scarring After Mole Removal Surgery

Moles (nevi) tend to be small dark growths on the skin (from a point to more than an inch diameter) that develop as a result of the accumulation of too many melanocytes, which are skin cells that produce pigment. Depending on the amount of pigment that is produced, they can be any dark or light brown color, yellow, or pink. They may be smooth or thick, like warts, and some may even be hairy, which increases their lack of attractiveness.

Moles are common and usually harmless, but some can become malignant over time and should be removed surgically. Others are just plain ugly and seem to be located in the worst possible places, spoiling their appearance. Removal of moles is not only a practical solution to these conditions, but it is also not all that complicated. In this article, we go over the available ways to remove moles, as well as how to prevent scarring post mole removal.

Remove Unwanted or Malignant Moles

If you want to get rid of a mole on your body, then you will need to contact your dermatologist to inspect the mole and look at its shape, color, and size. Once you have done this, you and your dermatologist will be able to determine which treatment is going to be appropriate to eliminate it. More commonly, it will be removed through any of the procedures discussed below, i.e. laser surgery or incision. The mole should also be tested to make sure it is not potentially cancerous.

If you decide that you want or find that you need to remove your moles, here are the main ways mole removal can be done:

1. Deep Excision

The dermatologist uses local anesthesia, such as Novocaine, to numb the area and a small knife or scalpel to cut the mole. Malleolar splitting requires a deep and wide cut to ensure that cancerous skin and tissue are completely removed. In this case, sutures or cauterization (burning) may be necessary to limit damage and promote healing.[1] There may be some scars, depending on the size of the cleavage and the skill of your doctor.

2. Removal by Shaving

The dermatologist applies a local anesthetic and then uses a scalpel blade to shave or peel off the mole, leaving the treated area flush with the surface of your skin. A crust will form, but after a week or two, it will fall off, leaving the area smooth and generally without scars.

3. Laser Surgery Removal

In laser mole removal surgery, a beam of laser light is used to warm cells or tissues in order to disrupt tissue cells and break them.[2] The blood vessels are sealed by the laser beam. Broken cells are absorbed by the body as the area heals.

Prevent Scarring Post-Removal

The unfortunate thing about mole removal is the fact that, in most cases, a scar will remain after removal. However, these tips will help you care for your skin after mole removal and will help you avoid this occurrence.[3]

  1. It is very important that you follow your dermatologist instructions very carefully. After the mole has been removed, your dermatologist will give you information on how to take care of the affected area and provide you with skin care instructions too. Follow them!
  2. If there are stitches around the area, then you have to make sure that the entire area is covered until all stitches have been removed. It is very important that you also keep the area clean and prevent bacteria from entering.
  3. You have to moisturize your skin. Scars are much more likely to appear on dry skin. Therefore, you will need to hydrate daily in order to keep the skin moist.
  4. You should also be provided with a scar treatment cream and if you are not, you should be able to find this at the local pharmacy as well. These treatment creams will use natural ingredients to prevent scars. The cream will have to be applied to the affected area two or three times a day for between 10 and 12 weeks.
  5. You should also massage the area every day as well in order to increase blood circulation there. By massaging the area and increasing circulation, it will ensure that the necessary nutrients are able to reach the area. These will be important in fortifying your skin against possible scars. Massage the area firmly for at least two minutes each day.
  6. If you go out in the sun then you need to use sunscreen. The sun’s rays can certainly cause damage to your skin and will worsen it further. This will prevent your skin from healing properly and, as such, a scar will become much more likely. Be sure to use sunscreen regardless of weather.
  7. Get some vitamin E capsules, prick them, and then spread the contents over the affected area. When vitamin E is applied to a certain area of the skin, it will nourish it and help with the healing process. By strengthening your skin this way, you are much more likely to avoid scars.

Be sure to keep in touch with your dermatologist. They can give you more advice on how to deal with any problems that may incur.
