Paintings by Niklas Asker

Niklas Asker born 1979 in Härnösand, Sweden is an illustrator, graphic novelist, and painter. After 10 years as a professional artist, he has worked with everything from television and editorial illustration to adapting a bestselling novel into comic form for the worlds largest book publisher.

In my oil paintings I try to balance traditional figurative painting with surreal and abstract elements to create a space somewhere between reality and dream where I can study the world from a distance.

Born in Miami. Tati Suarez’s work focuses on her sensual female figures with their enchanting deep eyes. Drawing on the symbolism and myth of her Brazilian and El Salvadorian heritage, Suarez infuses her paintings not only with personal style but also narrative, which engages the viewer and encourages them to forge backstories for her alluring alter egos.
