I am an illustrator who uses atmosphere and light to create dream-like images. With a sensitive approach, my work evokes sanctity through texture for projects in book publishing, editorial, and entertainment fields. ​I also am a guest artist lecturer.
As a graduate of Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts, I earned my BFA and MFA in Illustration, where I currently am an adjunct instructor.​
My work has appeared in juried shows and exhibitions through the Society of Illustrators of New York/Los Angeles, 3x3 Magazine, Creative Quarterly, ICON (National Illustration Conference), Rogue Space Gallery, and the Stone Quarry Hill Art Park. My work has also been acquired into the private collection of the Oneida Indian Nation.  Facebook

Aquila : 50-meter Sailing Yacht with Flexible Solar Sails

Aquila is a conceptual 50-meter sailing yacht that features solar sails thanks to CIGS solar cells technology. This project was born out of the idea to create a new generation of sailing yacht that follows recent trends of implementing futuristic technology in existing transportation. This futuristic sailing yacht features 50 meters length and 11.2 meters beam, it can accommodate up to 10 people at a time.

This yacht design aims to redefine sustain sailing navigation by highlighting its ability to operate entirely on solar power. It uses green technology such as solar sails to operate the electronic systems, this yacht can also generate energy from the wind.

Defined as an eco-friendly yacht, Aquila has been designed with bio-inspired shape. It features fluid and sculptural aesthetic for its external body to break the boundary of traditional yacht design. The fly-bridge has been designed to provide guests with ultimate ocean experience, there’s a large sunbathing area and a pool, sitting and entertainment area and other facilities.

One special feature of this yacht is that the smart glass installation that offers passengers with total control of their environment. This feature also improves energy efficiency while controlling the precise amount of light, glare, as well as heat passing through. Aquila yacht is also designed with big opening garage on both sides, it is able to keep a one-off design 8-meter tender, jet skis, or any other water vehicles. This yacht offers you a solution to stay environmentally friendly while at sea.

David Crunelle is a multidisciplinary artist from Brussels, Belgium, mainly developing his work in visual art, photography and graphic design.
He has been teaching visual communication and photography in higher education for nearly 10 years. He works as art director in a communication agency and he is also a stock photographer for Getty.
Winner of several graphic design competitions between 2009 and 2013, he is the author of many artworks for which he was recently nominated by the Music Industry Awards.
Jury’s favorite of the Parcours d’Artistes in Saint-Gilles in 2014 with his project “Stapletown”, he was then noticed for his exhibition “Psychedelic Constructivism” the same year.
