From his home in the town of Troyan, Bulgaria, graphic designer Stoian Hitrov has been making his foray into the world of art. Building upon the techniques he developed throughout his five-year career in visual communication, Stoian mixes traditional and digital techniques to create layered works that explore the space between mountains and sky. Layered yet distinctively minimal, his otherworldly art evokes a sense of isolation and wonder at the vastness of the universe.

Nadir Sailing Yacht : A Racer-Cruiser for Long Distance Travel
Nadir Sailing Yacht has been designed with the purpose of creating a racer-cruiser capable of long distance, sailing in comfort and style but without compromising the speed. It embodies the Italian definition of Gran Turismo that is used for cars of high performance but with great elegance and comfort. The yacht will be fast and light enough to compete in annual regattas. It presents a plumb bow and extensive outside areas for owner and guests.
The deck layout has two different entrances for crew and guests, and a lounge area just forward of the cockpit. The deckhouse is very low because of the interior layout with the engine room placed aft of the main salon, which is not raised and has an interior height of 2,60 m with big windows to let the light in: there are side and top windows, plus two skylights on the main deck just above the salon.
All these things help to create a flush deck, which lowers the profile and helps to maximize the vision line of the captain too. The deck is free of riggings apart from the 9 winches and also the sheets are hidden.
Designers : Marco Ferrari & Alberto Franchi of Ferrari Franchi Design
The interior of Nadir Sailng Yacht has 7 luxury cabins: a master cabin for the Owner forward and three cabins for the guests with heights of 2,20 m, for a total of 8 guests. The crew area is located aft and presents 2 cabins, plus a cabin for the Captain with direct access to the cockpit. It includes also a galley connected directly with both the dining area in the main salon and the crew mess aft.
The main and innovative feature is the surface of the deckhouse, which is cut in many small surfaces that together create the final surface like a mosaic. This solution could be optional, plus the drawing on the deckhouse could be modified according to the owner. In the stern a tender garage hosts the service tender.
The Nadir Sailng Yacht presents a carbon fiber sloop rig and the sail plan consists of a main sail, stay sail and a genoa with the possibility to use an asymmetrical spinnaker all made in 3DL. The draught measures 5,5 meters with keel down to give more stability under way, while at anchor the draught with keel up is 3,5 meters.

Distorted and haunting, his work reveals his deep concern for the human condition in society – and how he feels that something needs to change. Although the viewer is both repulsed and fascinated by the gut-wrenching hyperrealist sculptures of human bodies, Xoo Ang’s mastery of the art and eye for detail right down to the smallest vein is remarkable and reminds of the intricate work of Ron Mueck. As well as being hyperrealist, the artist’s work is also surrealist and is charged with existential questions.

Aluminum Heatsink Laptop Stand by Bryan Wong
Aluminum Heatsink Laptop Stand, this project is about a laptop stand that can reduce your laptop’s heat while improving ergonomics quietly. We spend long hours at our desks, sitting in front of our computer. Depending on work environment, you may be using a desktop or laptop. While laptop has the freedom of portability, it doesn’t support healthy ergonomics for the user, not to mention the long working hours. This common problem is easily relatable to everyone. Just by angling your laptop slightly, ergonomics are improved dramatically. It reduces pain within your wrist and neck while creating better airflow for your laptop. There’s a certain beauty within analog designed object that can’t be replaced by software, lines of codes. The beauty is simply place your laptop on the laptop stand and it’ll do the rest for you, automatically and instantly.
Designer : Bryan Wong
The main design approach for this project was a continuation of Bryan Wong’s previous project, Material Justice. He strongly believes that by utilizing material’s unique material properties, it accentuates the design while keeping it simple and subtle. Aluminum is honest, it has amazing material properties and can be recycled infinitely. After going through the anodizing process, it creates a smooth surface finish on the aluminum, making it scratch resistant. By utilizing aluminum’s amazing material attributes, the laptop stand acts as a passive heatsink and dissipates heat into the air without the use of fans or power while remaining silent.
