Installations by David Ogle

David Ogle born in 1987 graduated from Lancaster University with a 1st class BA in Fine Art History and Practice in 2009, and an MA with a Distinction in Contemporary Arts Research in 2012.

Much of my work to date has dealt with exploring notions of materiality, of permanence and of the perception of objects in space. Using light as a sculptural medium, my work is innately ephemeral. It begins as a set of strict mathematical procedures that are played out within an environment. Space simultaneously shapes the work and becomes manipulated by it.

Visceral abstraction by Rebeca Plana

Rebeca eager for eternity aspires to live, libidinously and insatiably, in a face to face with pain. Form and substance, spirit and delirium are for her similar points, united to be one. Adjusting her pulsions to the shadow of her rage, walking along the path of the instant. The fleeting moments become eternal, and emotional pictures as ever flowing. In her abstraction she opens the book of her life, her childhood, her orgasms, hoping to meet them again during the painting gesture.

Art of Sheila Dunn

Born and raised in the foothills of northern Colorado, Sheila Dunn currently lives and works in the beautiful town of Bend, Oregon. Best known for her large, vibrant figure paintings, Sheila’s work explores the fluid relationship between figure and environment: how each continuously informs and affects the other. At the heart of this exploration lies the notion that we both form – and are formed by - all we have seen and experienced.

Prints of Dunn’s work and select paintings are available to purchase through her Etsy shop.
