Illustrations by Carolina Rodriguez Fuenmayor Carolina Rodriguez Fuenmayor  is a freelance illustrator, based in Bogota, Colombia.   For years I’ve tried to take advantage of all media and visual resources that I could to develop images; from pencil and paper to digital painting. I like to build bridges between alternate universes and reality, creating forms of life capable to live in fantasy and illusion. I like to play with color and all its possibilities and I like to think I have a closeness with the ocean and that I can’t leave it behind in my images. I believe that space it’s another form of underwater love. Check out also her Behance .  View similar posts  | selected by Margaret

Modular Hearth Light Features Modern, Cubicle, Modular Structure

The word heath derives from an Indo-European root, referring to burning, heat, and fire, it was an inspiration for the light installation designed by Katarzyna Krawczyk. With its delicate and fragility, the Modular Hearth is aimed to translate typical fireplace into modern, cubicle, and modular structure. It is based on steel frames with LED light source, covered with textile inside the cube. There are three types of size for each module where each indicates different part of fireplace: the biggest- wooden logs, medium- flames and small- fire spark. The concept of Modular Hearth installation is based on multiple modules, that laid on the ground and gradually raised up to the space. Just like burning wood , release the fire that vanishes into the air. One of the main idea is a possibility of connecting and disconnection the modules with some plugins and jack connectors. That way the installation can change the shape according to user’s needs. The concept of Modular Hearth is supported

crossconnectmag : Dazzling Images of the Brain Created by Neuroscientist-Artist  Greg Dunne I enjoy Asian art. I particularly love minimalist scroll and screen painting from the Edo period in Japan. I am also a fan of neuroscience. Therefore, it was a fine day when two of my passions came together upon the realization that the elegant forms of neurons (the cells that comprise your brain) can be painted expressively in the Asian sumi-e style. Neurons may be tiny in scale, but they posess the same beauty seen in traditional forms of the medium (trees, flowers, and animals).  ( Thanks Livescience )                                                          && Follow us on Facebook

Batmobile Concept Car by Encho Enchev

This cool futuristic Batmobile was born when Encho Enchev watched Batman vs Superman. He was inspired by the new vehicle design, thus, decided to create his own version of a Batmobile. This Bulgarian designer has managed to combine different elements from new car and mix it with F1 and racing cars. Boasting dark and mysterious characteristic, lowered body, and a pair of guns. We really love that the top of the car looks like a fighter jet, very cool. Designer : Encho Enchev Batmobile Concept Car by Encho Enchev is originally posted on Tuvie - Modern Industrial Design
