Paste-up by Rö and l’Homme Pendu
The duo is installing these giant paste-ups of crazy mythical beings who seem to turn on their unwitting creators. Their latest project, Animae Dementia “soul madness”/“animal madness” highlights on crazy mystical beasts, integrated into urban spaces, and interacting with men, in different ways.
After the first piece in Paris near Notre Dame a few months ago, they went to Berlin, where they spent 2 weeks exploring uninhabited places. They elected a former NSA spying complex and an empty brewery, both unexploited since the end of the cold war, to be part of their project.
