The Monochromatic Animations of Jay Keeree
“Outlets" is an ongoing series of monochromatic GIFs made by Jay Keeree. The animations, some abstract and some referential, are inspired by the artist’s interest in technical illustration, architecture, and graphic design. As the name of the project would suggest, the series serves as a creative outlet for the artist to jot down, to simplify, and to reanimate the world around him into short loop-able animations.
Theera (Jay) Keeree is a Thai freelance motion graphic designer currently based in Philadelphia, PA.

Word as Image (by Ji Lee) from Ji LeeChallenge: Create an image...
Challenge: Create an image out of a word, using only the letters in the word itself.
Rule: use only the graphic elements of the letters without adding outside parts.
This project started nearly twenty years ago as an assignment in my typography class at art school. Students were encouraged to see letters beyond their dull, practical functionality. The challenge is to visualize the meaning of a word, using only the graphic elements of the letters forming the word, without adding any outside parts. The challenge was very hard, but the reward of “cracking” a word felt great. So this became a lifelong project for me. In 2011, I published a book called “Word as Image” containing nearly 100 words. The Genius of Paul Paetzel
It’s a weird world we live in, isn’t it? Man, it’s strange. All these little oddities that we deal with daily. Some of them we get used to, some of them are kinda cool. Paul Paetzel takes all of the wild of the world and turns it up loud, adds the fantastic to it, colors it with a candy store palette. And it makes all of our machines and people, all our gallantry and savagery seem normal by comparison.

Dacia Concept Sportscar by Manole Romulus Gabriel
Dacia is a concept sportscar, a proposal based on Dacia 1300 design identity (same as the Renault 12 model), it was inspired by characteristics of this Romanian brand’s history. The R12 was manufactured under license for more than 30 years in Romanian as Dacia 1300, or later as Dacia 1310 and different version of it. The interpretation of past design elements from the brand reference models are not too far away to inject a strong personality in the new models. For that reason, this concept features a neo–retro approach. For example some of the design elements used here: the body cross sections, headlights, and taillights which refer to Dacia 1310, respectively Dacia 1300 the C pillar from previous Dacia1310 Sport, but use now as a “vertical” wing. The color scheme refers to the Renault 12 Gordini cars.

Land Ho Boat Fender Design Features Compact Form for Easy Storage
First of all, a boat fender is a bumper used to absorb the kinetic energy of a boat or vessel berthing against a jetty, quay wall or other vessel. Fenders are used to prevent damage to boats, vessels and berthing structures, but nearly all of the fenders on the market have some serious problems with durability and strength, and also none of them offers easy storage. This is an important feature of fenders, because they are not used all the time, only when the boat is docked.
Due to its size, fenders can be a bit challenging to keep inside the boat. ‘Land Ho’ focuses on those problems and it offers you a better fender usage experience without structural risks, it features functional and storable design. This boat fender is designed in different sizes to give advantage to be used in different parts of the boat. It would be produced with new generation material called Rubbylene and it would also take advantages of new Run-Flat Tire Technology. This design brings together endurance, storable form and also practical usage.
