The Digital Art of Danny Laursen

Danny Laursen is a 17 year old freelance graphic designer and digital artist from Denmark. Two years ago, he started using Photoshop to create his art, and it quickly became his software of choice. In the summer of 2015, he decided to begin learning Cinema 4D, which has now also become a huge part of his workflow. Every day he will shuffle his music to find a random song, EP, or album. He will then design an unofficial cover art for the first song that plays. The goal of his series of unofficial cover arts is to develop his skills as a designer and artist, and discover new techniques and styles.

You can find more of Danny’s work on Behance and Ello.

Yaroslav Gerzhedovich (featured previously) born 1970 is a Russian artist, mainly a miniaturist,  works with traditional techniques and mediums (acrylic, ink, pencil, paper) but - as he says - his artworks get a second life in digital form. His artistic style can be defined somewhere between fantasy and surrealism.

Gunduz Agayev: War & Peace

Gunduz Agayev from Azerbaijan is known for his bold political illustrations, drawing attention to current problems in our modern world. In this new series, he explores the horrors of war in the 21st century. Some of his images may seem shocking, but please keep in mind that actual war is far more devastating than any piece of art which comments on this global epidemic. Peace. | Previous Post

“War is a death, a suicide. Nations massacre one another & the whole of mankind. Nevertheless, we are able to inhibit this plague. Fortunately, we also invented peace. It is a way to struggle against war. It must be everyone’s duty to continue this struggle.”

Your 2016 Calendar

Calendar makers All The Fruits have created a bright and visually appealing wallpaper calendar suitable for the inner designer in all of us. The calendar comes pre-glued so all that is left to do upon arrival is submerge in water and apply to the wall of your choosing with a wet sponge. Included on the calendar are lunar phases and weekends illuminated via brighter colors.
